Chinese Chicken Salad (Grandma C.)
Layer the following in a 13 X 9 inch pan:
1 head of iceberg lettuce
1 c. cooked shredded chicken
1 cucumber - jullienned
chopped green onion
Chinese parsley
top salad with won ton strips
toasted and slightly sugared almonds
mandarin oranges
Dressing:
6 T. sugar
6 T. rice vinegar
1 t. shoyu
½ c. canola or vegetable oil
2 t. sesame oil
2 t. salt
½ t. black pepper
Blend
and chill until ready to pour on the salad. Shake well before pouring.
