Cabbage Tsukemono

5 lb Cabbage
1 c. boiling water
1 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. salt
1/4 c. vinegar


Cut cabbage into wedges.  Mix water, sugar, salt and vinegar.  Boil and cool.   Pour over cabbage.  Let stand for one hour.  Bottle and refrigerate.
