Sweet & Sour Spareribs

One slab Baby Back Pork Ribs
Boil and simmer 45 minutes to one hour.  Add one clove garlic and one piece of ginger. 

SAUCE


1 c. brown sugar ( not packed)
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbs. grated ginger
1 c. pineapple Juice
1/2 c. Mirin or Sherry Wine (optional)
1 Tbs. cornstarch (for thickening)


Pour over ribs and simmer for another 30-45 minutes.
