Florence Miyasato's Mango Chutney

2 c. cider vinegar
5- 1/2 c. sugar    {Boil together for 10 minutes. 

Add (to vinegar/sugar) boil for 30 minutes (or until mango looks transparent) {Stir frequently to prevent scorching}
10 c. green mangos (peeled and chopped into small pieces)
1 tsp. salt
1 clove garlic (minced)
1/4 c. fresh orange peel (chopped)
1/2 c. peeled ginger (chopped)
3 c. raisins

Add:
 4 (small) seeded chile peppers, seeded and minced (I use Hawaiian peppers)
1 tsp. ground clover
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
Boil for 10 more minutes.
POUR    into sterilized jars and seal. 
Makes about ten cups.
