Dill Pickle Dip

Makes 2 cups


1 cup chopped dill pickles.  Squeeze out liquid
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (8 ounce) carton sour cream

1.       In mixing bowl beat cream cheese, sour cream with electric mixer till fluffy.  Add in dill pickles.  Chill.
2.      Serve with vegetable dippers, crackers or chips.

(  We loved dill pickle dip when we were kids.  Unfortunately it is very difficult to find and impossible in Hawaii.  So, I developed this recipe to use when I am craving it.  The fat free or low fat cream cheese and sour cream can be used)

Creamy onion dip:  prepare as above, except omit dill pickles and stir in 2 Tablespoons regular onion soup mix into beaten cream cheese mixture.
